Berry imports from Kyrgyzstan to Tyumen Oblast see uptick

In September, Tyumen Oblast witnessed an uptick in the import of fresh berries from Kyrgyzstan, as detailed by the regional branch of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor). The first half of September saw a 49 percent increase in berry imports from Kyrgyzstan compared to the same timeframe in the previous year. Over 20 tons of raspberries, strawberries, and other berry varieties have been delivered to the region since the start of the month. These imports underwent phytosanitary inspections to ensure safety, with Rosselkhoznadzor confirming the absence of quarantine pests in the shipments.
