Totam Seeds introduced the TopGun rootstock last year after several years of trials under high-tech greenhouse conditions. For the high-tech market, the breeding company also has a second rootstock available. This rootstock, HawkEye, has ToBRFV resistance.
HawkEye is according to the breeders an 'interspecific hybrid rootstock, particularly suited to long growing cycles with elevated vigor'. The rootstock gives an earlier fruit harvest, has a good vegetative / generative balance, is wide adaptable and has very expanded root system.
