From the start of January through August, Uzbekistan has dispatched 30.1 thousand tons of plums across 12 nations, with earnings reaching US$24.3 million, as per data from the Uzbekistan Statistics Agency. This marks an increase in plum export revenue by US$4.1 million compared to the previous year's figures within the same timeframe.
The majority of these exports were directed towards Russia, amounting to 19.1 thousand tons, followed by Kazakhstan with 9.4 thousand tons, and Kyrgyzstan receiving 1.4 thousand tons. Other recipients included Belarus with 177 tons, Mongolia with 14 tons, and the United Arab Emirates with 7.8 tons.
