Nature-based shelf-life solutions to be showcased in Madrid

FOOD freshly, a leader in natural shelf-life preservation, will highlight its sulphite-free, preservative-free solutions, designed to extend the shelf-life of fresh-cut produce, particularly items popular in the Spanish market, such as lettuce, tropical fruits, apples, and potatoes.

As part of its strategic plan to expand its presence in Spain, FOOD freshly is building a strong local network, including increased warehouse capacity and dedicated sales support. With the recent appointment of Alejandro Morant as the Sales Manager for Spain, the company is well-positioned to strengthen its relationships with Spanish fresh-cut processors, retailers, and foodservice providers. "Spain is a key market for us, and our local presence will allow us to serve our customers more effectively," said Morant.

FOOD freshly's solutions can extend the shelf-life of these fresh-cut items by up to 12 days while maintaining their texture, colour, and overall freshness. This innovative, nature-based approach allows fresh-cut processors, food service providers, and grocery retailers to offer fresher, higher-quality products without the need for nature-based preservation methods.
