Year-round berry offerings on display

With IFPA's Global Show fast approaching, the California Giant Berry Farms team is eager to showcase its premium strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.

At the show, the team will showcase its portfolio of berries. Visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to learn more about the company's commitment to sustainability, quality, and providing a year-round supply of berries.

Chef Stephen Halliday, former California Giant Berry Farms Chef Invitational winner from Gordon Food Service, will be in the booth preparing Hand-Pulled Mozzarella Berry Bites with Fresh Herbs and Balsamic Mixed-Berry Bake spotlighting the versatility of fresh berries.

The Giant Blueberries label will be introduced at the show.

One of the highlights of the show will be the introduction of California Giant's new Giant Blueberries label. These extra-large blueberries, measuring 20mm or more, are hand-picked, sorted, and packed at their peak of the season to ensure optimal flavor and texture.

With the tagline "Bigger. Better. BEST!" the Giant Blueberries label boasts berries that prove that the difference is Giant—all in perfect timing as the jumbo blueberry category has a strong alignment with shopper preference, with dollars and unit growth being up +50 percent from one year ago, according to AC Nielsen data.

The roll-out of the Giants label is gradual and is expected to be fully available by mid-2025.

In addition to the Giants label, the company will also highlight its California Fair Trade USA-certified strawberries. This initiative reinforces the company's commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices and underscores the company's mission to deliver the best quality berries and nourish its communities. As the USA's First Fair Trade Certified Open Field Strawberry Operations, California Giant Berry Farms is proud of its sustainable and ethical berry production.
