Ukrainian company Mnagor from Vinnytsia, has amazed the world with its new variety of sweet corn called Vyshyvanka. Following the success of Ukrainian Bicolor, this new corn variety, which combines several colours on a single ear – yellow, blue, red, purple, and green – has quickly gained popularity both in Ukraine and abroad. This multicoloured corn is not only an agricultural innovation but also a symbol of national identity.
According to company founder Mykhailo Nahorniak, Vyshyvanka is a breakthrough in sweet corn breeding. Its advantages include high yields, resistance to diseases and drought, and quick maturation – just 73–75 days. Thanks to its super-sweet kernels, Vyshyvanka is perfect for eating raw or for canning. Its vibrant colours also add a festive touch to any table.

Demand for this variety is rapidly increasing. Farmers are reporting high profitability, and internationally, there are already pre-orders from European and Asian countries. Vyshyvanka is especially popular among Ukrainian farmers, and there are even plans to plant it in Crimea as a symbol of Ukraine's presence.
