EU calculated apples prices in September, based on the simple average of the four major EU member states, came in at €96 /100 kgs, €1 lower compared to the month before. Monthly apple prices per 100 kgs, came in at €59.0 for Poland, France with €144.5, for Germany €86.0 and for Italy €93.5.
Looking further into the European apple dashboard, the level of apples exported from the EU seems to be lower than both last year as well as the 5 year average. In 2023/2024, 127,000 tons of apples were exported from the EU in September. This year, the month of September only had 95,000 tons of apples exported from the EU.
