Kyrgyzstan resumed the export of walnuts to China in September 2024

In September 2024, Kyrgyzstan resumed the export of walnuts to China, according to data from the General Customs Administration.

A total of 25 tons were exported over the month.

Previously, in August, the supply of walnuts had been suspended.

Before this halt, walnuts had been shipped to China for seven consecutive months, from January to July. From January to September, a total of 5400 tons of walnuts were delivered to China, amounting to $2.4 million.

Export prices ranged from $0.3 to $0.5 per kg. All the nuts were exported in their shells.
