Trackster-S by Dari Ecomeccanica to be unveiled at Eima 2024

A new open field vegetable harvester that does not stress the soil

With its cutting-edge solutions, the Italian company Dari Ecomeccanica continues to innovate in the agricultural machinery sector. This time, with the presentation of its latest innovation at EIMA 2024: the Trackster-S, the company aims to revolutionise the harvesting of leafy vegetables. This is a vegetable harvester specially designed for harvesting leafy vegetables grown in open fields, with a light footprint on the ground, a precise cutting and harvesting system, a high degree of flexibility and increased load capacity.

"The Trackster-S features caterpillar drive, which minimises the pressure on the ground, preserving soil structure and improving crop quality. Thanks to a dual closed hydraulic circuit, each track is controlled independently, ensuring high stability and manoeuvrability even in difficult working conditions," explains Francesco Roslli of Dari Ecomeccanica, based in Eboli (Salerno).

"One of the strengths of the Trackster S is its cutting and harvesting system," continues Roselli. "The system guarantees unrivalled precision during harvesting, reduces the weight on the ground and ensures maximum smoothness during operation, thanks to the motorised roller and active suspension. This is an innovative approach that optimises efficiency without compromising the quality of the crop," he says.

"Another new feature of the Trackster-S is the ability to open and close the tailboards and roof independently, making the machine extremely versatile for different working conditions. The version with raised tailboards increases loading capacity and improves logistical efficiency in the field, as it can carry up to 7 pallets of boxes."

Dari Ecomeccanica has designed a series of optional extras to adapt the Trackster-S to the needs of each grower. These include a roof cover, a side conveyor, a vibrator to improve harvesting, an additional headlight unit for night work and the 4.0 machine set-up for advanced digital management. Another popular option is the Agribox crate collector, which provides instant crate organisation and reduces post-harvest handling time.

"With its advanced technology and focus on sustainability, the Trackster-S has the potential to be one of the most eagerly awaited innovations at EIMA 2024," concludes the engineer. "We invite all professionals to visit stand C/27 in Hall 30 to see this exceptional machine in action and learn more about how it can change the way field vegetables are harvested."
