Would you wear a potato-scented perfume?

Bohoboco, a major Polish luxury cosmetics company with stores in New York, Dubai, Paris, and Rome, announced that the fragrance of its latest creation, Polish Potatoes, will have, as its name suggests, notes of potatoes. The 50-milliliter bottle will be sold for 155 euros.

Michaล‚ Gilbert Lach, the company's creative director, said this new creation is "a tribute to the down-to-earth, rugged charm of Polish markets, where we discover the unique magic of simplicity." He also said he was inspired by his childhood in Zywiec, a small town in southern Poland. "Every Wednesday morning, local farmers and craftsmen gathered, creating a magical space that came to life," he recalled. "Potatoes, the golden treasures of the ๐—ฃ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ต countryside, rested in jute sacks and wicker baskets. Their earthy skin, still damp from the morning dew, radiated a deep, sensual chord," he added.

This Polish fine fragrance company that was founded in 2016 has won numerous international awards and, in 2020, was a finalist for the FiFi Awards, considered the "Oscars of the perfume industry."
