Asparagus
The movement of Peru imports through South Florida ports of entry is expected to remain about the same. Trading is moderate. Prices of jumbo are slightly higher, large are generally unchanged, others are slightly lower. 11pound cartons of bunched green jumbo are mostly 28.75-30.75, extra-large are mostly 24.85-26.75, large are mostly 21.75-24.75, standard are mostly 19.75-21.75. Supplies of large are fairly light. Quality is generally good. Movement from Mexico crossings through Arizona, California, and Texas is expected to remain about the same. Trading is fairly slow. Prices are higher due to light supplies. 11-pound cartons/crates of bunched standard are 22.75. Extra services are included. Prices represent few spot market sales.
Avocado
Movement from Mexico's crossings through Texas is expected to remain about the same. Trading of 32-40s is good, while others are moderate. The price of 40s are higher, 48-84s are lower, and others are generally unchanged. Cartons of 2-layers Hass 32-36s are mostly 70.25-72.25, 40s are mostly 64.25-67.25, 48s are mostly 52.25-54.25, 60s are mostly 29.25-30.25, 70s are mostly 20.25-22.25, and 84s are mostly 16.25-17.25; organic 48s are mostly 65.25-68.25, 60s are mostly 44.25-48.25, and 70s are mostly 36.25-38.25. Cucumber
Movement from Mexico crossings through Nogales, Arizona is expected to increase. Supplies of large are light. Trading early was active, and late was slow.
