Kyrgyzstan's cucumber exports to Kazakhstan and Russia came to a halt

In a notable development, Kyrgyzstan's exports of cucumbers have plummeted to zero in the period from January to August 2024, according to the National Statistical Committee.

According to the National Statistical Committee, the country exported 106.7 tons of these products during the same period in 2023.

Previously, Kazakhstan and Russia were the primary buyers of Kyrgyz cucumbers. In the previous year, Kazakhstan received 28.3 tons, while Russia imported 78.4 tons. However, this year, shipments to both countries have completely ceased.
