Chinese fruit growers expand exports to Russia and Central Asia

Shanxi Province, North China, is gearing up to build a logistics park to boost trade with Russia, which was announced in the main chamber of Commerce for entrepreneurs working with Russia.

This development, revealed at the Shanxi (Yuncheng) International Fruit Fair, aims to expedite the transport of Chinese fruits to Moscow, ensuring delivery within about 10 days without the need for customs warehouse stops.

The new direct logistic routes promise to make transportation more efficient and attract Russian customers.

Over the past decade, the company has exported about 2,000 tons of apples to Russia annually.

Additionally, Gao Zinyu, the main representative of the Yuncheng Committee for the Promotion of International Trade in Kazakhstan, noted an increase in fruit shipments from China to Kazakhstan during winter, from December to April. Yuncheng's fruits, including fresh apricots and nectarines, are exported to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries, with an annual export volume exceeding 10,000 tons.
