Foodstuffs' produce experts say settled spring weather has delivered good volumes and value, with supplies of covered crops like tomatoes, cucumber and capsicums now starting to build, and berries and stone fruit making an early appearance ahead of the festive season.

Poland: Eurocash says it might not reach 2025 targets

Reuters reported: "Polish food retailer Eurocash might not be able to meet its financial targets for 2025, given the challenging market trends and its updated operational plans, it said. Particularly at risk are its core profit (EBITDA) target of 1bln zlotys ($243.1mln) and the revenue goal for its Frisco brand, also at 1bln zlotys (€230mln), published in 2022 as part of its 2025 strategy, Eurocash said in a statement".
