Brazil to announce new agricultural export deals with China during Xi's visit

Brazil's Agriculture Minister Carlos Favaro disclosed plans for the unveiling of agricultural agreements with China, coinciding with the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping. The announcements are anticipated as Xi attends the G-20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, with subsequent meetings scheduled with Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in Brasilia. The forthcoming export deals with China are expected to encompass a range of products including fruit, beef, and pork. Additionally, an updated roster of Brazilian meatpackers eligible for export to China is slated for release.
