Potato supplier Branston has unveiled a new brand, Nanna Tate, which aims to modernize potato dishes. Launching on 30 December, Nanna Tate fresh potatoes will be available in 450 Tesco stores throughout the UK, with a subsequent roll-out of the Nanna Tate prepared potato range slated for February 2025.
The Nanna Tate line includes ready-to-cook dishes designed to simplify potato preparation, ensuring consistently excellent results. The range is tailored to produce the creamiest mash, fluffiest roast potatoes, and crispiest chips.
Nanna Tate aims to stand out in the potato section, complemented by online content for culinary inspiration. Lucia Washbrook, sales & marketing director at Nanna Tate, commented on the launch timing post-Christmas, a period traditionally marked by a heightened appreciation for potatoes. Washbrook highlighted the brand's intention to maintain consumer interest in potatoes beyond the festive season with Nanna Tate's distinctively different prepared potato products.
Washbrook further emphasized the brand's bold and sassy character, aiming to challenge conventional perceptions of potatoes and encourage consumers to 'unexpect the expected.' Nanna Tate aspires to enhance modern dining experiences, fostering moments of togetherness and creating new memories around the table.
