The agrarian company "Full Basket," located in the Volyn region, Ukraine, plans to expand its vegetable production and initiate processing operations, said the director of this company, Viktor Dorotenko
Reportedly, since March of this year, the farm has constructed 31 greenhouses and cultivated 16 vegetable crops on 270 hectares of arable land. The produce is supplied to local supermarkets. Additionally, 100 hectares of land have been prepared for next year's crop.
Construction started on a facility for a processing workshop during the summer. Viktor Dorotenko notes that the launch of a production line for finished products will offer new development opportunities. First, it will employ a zero-waste production technology. Second, it will enable the processing of produce from other agricultural enterprises.
Viktor Dorotenko announces that plans for next year include leeks, carrots, potatoes, pumpkins, cauliflower, peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, and cabbage.
"We want to create conditions here, in Ukraine, so that people do not feel the need to go abroad for work. If we can offer people at least 70% of what they earn abroad, people will stay in Ukraine. They will work to contribute to the Ukrainian budget. At the same time, they will be close to their families, which is a decisive factor for me."
