On December 8, the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association hosted a grand ceremony at Guangzhou JNH Wholesale Market to celebrate the arrival of the first direct vessel carrying Chilean cherries. This event marked the official opening of the Chilean cherry season. According to the association, the 2024/25 production season is expected to set a record for Chilean cherry production, with exports projected to increase by 50% compared to the previous season.
