From January to November 2024, Azerbaijan exported 124,790 tons of tomatoes to foreign countries, totalling $155,362,000, according to the State Customs Committee, ABC.AZ reports.
Compared to the same time last year, the value of tomato exports increased by $14,893,000 and the volume increased by 488 tons.
In the first 10 months of this year, the average export price of 1 kg of tomatoes was 2.03 manats ($1.19), 7.3% higher than last year, when it stood at 1.89 manats ($1.11).
Tomatoes accounted for 0.64% of Azerbaijan's total exports during this period.
