In January-November, Azerbaijan exported 610,027 tons of fruits and vegetables worth US$628 million, according to the State Customs Committee, Trend reports.
This represents a decrease of US$13.188 million in value and 31,713 tons in volume compared to the same time last year. From January to November 2023, Azerbaijan exported 641,740 tons of fruits and vegetables valued at US$641.188 million.
Over the 11 months, fruit and vegetable exports accounted for 2.58% of Azerbaijan's total exports.
During the same period, Azerbaijan imported 325,850 tons of fruits and vegetables worth US$246.47 million. This marks an increase of US$45.639 million in value and 13,190 tons in volume compared to last year's figures.
Imports of fruits and vegetables accounted for 1.27% of Azerbaijan's total imports over the 11 months.
