After almost 14 years, Christoph Buchner is leaving Westfalia Fruit Group (formerly Hausladen Fruchthandelsgesellschaft mbH). "Our industry is a 'people business' and I am proud to have worked in partnership with many talented, dedicated, and innovative professionals, including customers, suppliers, and colleagues. Many of them became friends. During the past 14 years working at Hausladen/Westfalia, I was able to live my professional dream, for which I am very grateful. It was a great time, certainly challenging at times, but with partners like you, we were capable of overcoming all challenges," Buchner writes in a LinkedIn post.
"It's hard for me to say goodbye, but I'm looking forward to spending the next few months with my family. I will think carefully about the opportunities the fruit industry has in store for me. I already have many ideas," he writes further.
