$23M plant to be built to process berries and vegetables in Sokuluk district, Kyrgyzstan

The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has approved an investment agreement with San Planet International LLC to construct a fruit, berry, and vegetable processing plant in the Chuy Region. The decision was announced in a resolution issued on December 24, 2024.

The plant, located in Sokuluk District, will process at least 12,000 tons of raw materials annually and produce over 70 types of finished products. The total investment for the project exceeds $23.4 million.

The facility will be built on a 1.5-hectare plot of land privately owned by "San Planet International." The site in Kyrgyzstan's Chuy region was reclassified from agricultural land to industrial use by a government decree to accommodate the project.
