Durian vending machines launched in Singapore

Durian distributor Kaki Kaki will launch a new vending machine at Tampines MRT station on 20 January, following installations at three apartment buildings last year. The machine sells 400-gram boxes of Musang King durian for SGD38 (US$28), with a half-price discount until mid-February. Durians are sourced from Malaysian farmers and replenished daily, and unsold fruit is used in cakes. Co-founder C.Y. Wong emphasizes cold-chain transport for quality and consistency.
