AGVs in operation at onion packing station

Three automated guided vehicles (AGVs) are in operation at TOP The Onion Group. This is a particularly busy period in the onion business, so in addition to the AGVs, there are also plenty of forklift drivers working on-site. And they work well together, says GO The AGV Company.

The GO vehicles pick up pallets of onions from the production line and position them at the loading dock. From there, forklift drivers simply have to grab the correct pallets and load them onto the trucks. Each AGV is equipped with a safety laser scanner to detect obstacles and stop in time, preventing accidents and damage. If there are no active orders, the AGVs automatically return to the charging station.
