Hamburger Logistiktage on February 18 and 19 at the Millerntor Stadium

"Technological and practice-oriented solutions along the logistics chain"

On the 18th and 19th, around 400 representatives from the international logistics industry met at the Millerntor Stadium of the football club Sankt Pauli as part of the Hamburger Logistiktage (en.: Hamburg Logistics Days, HLT). In addition to the supporting program, the participants, including operational managers, other experts, and decision-makers along the supply chain, had more than enough time for networking and targeted discussions about the current challenges in the sector. The high number of visitors and the clear thematic focus, which meet the needs of the industry, continue to characterize the two-day event, sponsors and participants told FreshPlaza.de.

"In the area of fruit and agricultural logistics, we continue to see an increasing demand for fast and efficient transport," said Cargo Plast GmbH. The Salem-based company is dedicated to the distribution of plastic load carriers and was a sponsor of the event for the first time. "In addition, innovative solutions are in demand, from maintaining the cold chain to optimizing delivery routes and finding ways to cope with the different international trade standards. Both the technological and practical aspects of these ubiquitous topics were discussed in detail during the series of lectures and in the on-site discussions. The main focus was on increasing efficiency and combating waste along the logistics chain for fresh produce."

Impressions of this year's Hamburger Logistiktage. The 22nd edition of the event was held at the Millerntor Stadium of the traditional football club FC St. Pauli. A total of around 30 exhibitors presented themselves during the Hamburger Logistiktage. Participants included representatives of major food retail chains and corporations such as Otto, Tchibo, and Beiersdorf.

The event continues to be characterized by the theoretical and practical exchange of experience and knowledge. "The quality of the discussions, the diversity of the supporting program, and, the applicable information and experience make the Hamburger Logistiktage a unique platform. This not only enabled us to talk to potential partners and customers but also gave us valuable insights into the current trends and developments in the sector," the management of Cargo Plast GmbH continues.

Capp Plast GmbH was also represented as an exhibitor.

"An important topic was the use of artificial intelligence in the field of logistics and warehousing," reports Andreas Goslar of Capp Plast Deutschland GmbH, one of the event sponsors. "In general, both sides of the logistics chain are currently quite positive. However, it is unanimously reported that decision-making processes in the sector take longer. In general, it is assumed that all purchasing decisions are somewhat muted for various reasons."
