Albanian fruit and vegetable exports up 18% in february

The export of "Made in Albania" fruits and vegetables continues to grow. Anila Denaj, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, stated that February saw an 18% rise in export quantity and a 15% increase in value compared to the previous year. Albanian agricultural products are expanding their presence in international markets.

This growth in Albanian exports highlights improvements in product quality and farmer empowerment. The sustained increase in agricultural exports reflects Albanian farmers' efforts to enhance brand recognition and compete in global markets.

Albania's favorable climate and the potential to serve regional markets offer opportunities in agriculture. Fresh Albanian fruits and vegetables are leading in export demand from foreign consumers.

The government aims for $1 billion in exports by 2030, focusing on production, quality, and certification support policies for farmers.
