The Odisha government has initiated a plan to introduce Dhenkanal mangoes to international markets. A 15-year agreement was secured by Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida in collaboration with a Non-Governmental Organisation. This deal aims to enhance the global distribution of these unique mangoes.
Recently, over a ton of papaya from Dhenkanal was exported to London and Ireland, marking a step toward increasing the international presence of Odisha's produce.
