Azerbaijan among the largest tomato suppliers to Russia in 2025

Since the beginning of 2025, Azerbaijan has supplied 28,700 tons of tomatoes to Russia, according to the Report, citing data from Rosselkhoznadzor.

As of March 23, Azerbaijan is one of the two largest tomato suppliers to Russia.

In total, Russia has imported 124.9 thousand tons of tomatoes this year, with Turkmenistan leading at nearly 30,000 tons. Azerbaijan's share in Russian tomato imports stands at 23%.
