In the first quarter of 2025, Egypt's agricultural exports reached over 2.7 million tons. As per the cabinet's report, citrus fruits dominated the export figures, totaling 1,328,902 tons. Fresh potatoes were the second most exported, amounting to 492,763 tons, with beans following closely at 96,313 tons.
Sweet potatoes were ranked fourth, contributing 77,458 tons to the export volume. Strawberries were fifth with 29,162 tons, and fresh tomatoes were sixth with 28,195 tons. Onions secured the seventh position with 26,410 tons.
Garlic exports were recorded at 9,745 tons, placing them eighth. Guavas followed in ninth place with 7,835 tons, while pomegranates rounded out the top ten with 2,372 tons.
