Frialsa Peru operates two cold storage facilities in the Lima area. One is located in Callao, near the city's main port terminal, and the other is situated in Lurin, south of the capital. These facilities will be integrated with Emergent Cold LatAm's existing warehouse at the DP World container depot in Callao, increasing the company's total capacity in the Lima area to more than 260,000 cubic meters of storage and approximately 33,000 pallet positions. Including its facility in Piura, which serves northern Peru and the Port of Paita, Emergent Cold LatAm now manages over 40,000 pallet positions in the country.

The acquisition also adds blast freezing and transportation services to the company's local operations, enhancing its logistics offerings in Peru.

Lars Reyes, previously General Manager at Frialsa, has been appointed Country Manager for Peru at Emergent Cold LatAm as part of the transaction. Reyes brings with him an experienced team and existing relationships with a broad customer base.

Company representatives noted that the integration of Frialsa's facilities complements their existing infrastructure and aligns with regional growth objectives. The expanded storage capacity and additional services are expected to improve support for clients' logistics needs in the Lima area.

Advisors for the transaction included 44 Capital Finanças Corporativas as financial advisor and Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas as legal advisor to Emergent Cold LatAm.
