Around 6 people have been injured or affected by the fire, which has consumed part of the facilities of this company which produces and markets avocados and mangoes, as well as juices and sauces.
The manager of Reyes Gutiérrez, Juan Antonio Reyes Gutiérrez, said that "what matters the most is that nobody suffered serious injuries and only material damage has been reported."
"The Reyes Gutiérrez family wishes to inform that all our handling and processing plants are still working at 100% and that we have only suffered material damage in a small warehouse, separated from the main facilities," he says.
"We can't find the right words to express the immense gratitude we feel, especially for all our employees, who have acted in an exemplary and diligent manner in the evacuation, collaborating at all times," says the company manager.
"We also want to thank our magnificent state and local security forces, who were there in no time, and who prevented, thank God, the fire from spreading," he says. "Many thanks to all our friends and partners for their messages and calls of encouragement!"
