Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions to start construction of new premises in September

Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions is moving, but the company will remain in Emmeloord, they report. In the past week, the ground was prepared for the new premises at Munt B. The first pile will be driven into the ground in September.

Director Maarten Verbruggen is looking forward to next summer, when the company will move into the new building of some 15,000 m2. "Our 100-plus employees in Emmeloord are now spread out under three different roofs. But we are outgrowing our premises and no longer see any growth opportunities at the current location on the Bouwerskamp. We are therefore moving to brand-new premises at Munt B in Emmeloord. It is with slight pain in our hearts that we say goodbye to the current location, where the company has experienced enormous growth."

Growth for the future
The new premises offer room for further growth in the future on all fronts, they say. "In the new premises, we can produce more efficiently, as the larger space allows for fewer operations and shorter lines. This creates the ability to cope with the increasing demand and size of projects," Maarten explains.

"In addition, it strengthens the cohesion of our employees because everyone will soon be working together under one roof. Last but not least, we are building according to the latest GPR standards. That means we are building as sustainably as possible. We will soon be gas-free, build our new building partly with circular materials and generate most of our own energy."

Verbruggen visitor experience
Furthermore, Verbruggen is taking advantage of the new visible location to put their machines 'in the shop window': "Our new premises will soon be adjacent to the A6. This makes it easier to reach, but also more visible. That is why the new building will have a 'Verbruggen visitor experience'. This allows us to organise 'factory tours' where we can demonstrate our latest innovative solutions to customers and other interested parties."
