Foodiverse aims to surprise in Madrid with latest additions to its range

Foodiverse, European leader in the production of fresh, ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook foods, will attend the 16th edition of the Fruit Attraction Fair, which will take place from 8 to 10 October in Madrid.

The group, which has cultivation fields and production plants in Spain, Germany, Switzerland and Italy, will be attending the event which is bringing the entire fruit and vegetable sector together, and will bring a sample of its wide range, consisting of more than 1,600 products for the retail, foodservice and hospitality sectors.

At stand C04 in Hall 7, visitors will have the chance to discover the latest innovations that the company will be introducing into its pre-prepared convenience food range in the coming months. These include new recipes, formats and even new salad concepts with which the multinational will once again aim to revolutionize the fresh produce category.

Innovation at the service of healthy eating
In the last year alone, Foodiverse has launched more than 200 new products on the market. It has pioneered the introduction in mainland Spain of ultra-fresh salads, a very popular product in markets such as Switzerland and Germany, where the multinational already has a wide range of recipes on offer. These are salads made with premium ingredients that bring all the freshness of the field to the consumer and are marketed in cardboard bowls.

The multinational also markets a wide range of ready-to-eat salads in bags or trays, including new additions to the Freshkia family, such as Tex-Mex, Caprese or light Caesar salads. The Microfreshk dishes, which are steamed in the microwave in just 4 minutes, are an option for those looking for new ways to eat vegetables.

Freshkia has also presented very attractive alternatives for this summer to facilitate snacking, such as vegetable snacks (radishes, carrots and baby cucumbers) and dips (mild and spicy guacamole, brocomole, hummus or Mexican salsa), as well as cups of ready-to-eat peeled fruit, and cold-pressed 100% natural juices, available in 11 flavours.

Through its subsidiary Agromediterránea, the group is also marketing 35 varieties of fresh vegetables straight from the field. Thus, consumers buying their groceries at the main retailers in Spain and Europe have access to produce grown on 2,900 hectares managed directly by the firm. The range includes several kinds of lettuce and baby leaves, as well as vegetables such as sweet corn, radishes, peppers and zucchini, which stand out in a range that also includes aromatic herbs that will help spice up and add extra flavour to any consumer creations.

Partners in innovation
This year, Foodiverse will once again attend Fruit Attraction with its own stand, where customers and suppliers, both current and potential, will have a chance to learn more about all the new products developed by its interdisciplinary innovation team.

To this end, the group's different companies (Verdifresh, Agromediterránea and Comfresh in Spain, Thurländer Salate in Germany, Josef Müller Gemüse in Switzerland and Ortoverde in Italy) are working hand in hand with each client, devising new recipes to expand their product range, introducing innovative ingredients and adapting global trends to local tastes, thus allowing each country to have a more dynamic fresh produce range.

The multinational, which is currently working with more than 55,000 m² of industrial space, has more than 350 clients in 16 markets. The products are delivered both under distributor brands (with which it has a leading position in Spain, Portugal and Switzerland) and under its own brand.

Foodiverse's priority is to ensure that all products are still fresh and in the best possible condition when clients receive them. In Spain and Portugal, this is achieved partly thanks to the fact that the company has its own farms, and also due to the agreements signed with local raw material suppliers and the strategic location of its four production plants, from which it supplies the main retail chains on the Iberian Peninsula on a daily basis.

Foodiverse will be in Hall 7, stand C04 at Fruit Attraction.
