Iran has experienced a growth in the export of agricultural products during the first half of the current Iranian calendar year, with a 26 percent increase from March 21 to September 22, 2024, compared to the same period in the previous year. The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) reported that the country exported 3.2 million tons of agricultural goods, marking a 20 percent rise over the last year. Key exports included pistachios, tomatoes, watermelons, apples, and dates. Financially, pistachios led the export value at $374 million, followed by tomatoes at $207 million, watermelons at $128 million, apples at $114 million, and dates at $78 million during the specified timeframe.
