Ukrainian agrarians received over 8.8 million euros in greenhouse grants

As part of the Ukranian government grant program to support small and medium-sized businesses, four agro-enterprises received 13.5 million hryvnias (about 304,321 euros) for the development of horticulture, berry growing, and viticulture.

Since the beginning of 2024, 393.7 million hryvnias (about 8.87 million euros) in grant aid have already been paid out to 99 agricultural producers. Of these, 73 enterprises received 270.2 million hryvnias (about 6.09 million euros) for the development of horticulture, berry growing, and viticulture, and 123.5 million hryvnias (about 2.78 million euros) were paid for the development of greenhouse farming to 26 enterprises.

Since the beginning of the program, which is called "єРобота", about 1.1 billion hryvnias (about 24.78 million euros) in grant aid have been paid to 249 agricultural producers. Of these, 807.3 million hryvnias (about 18.19 million euros) were paid to 192 farms for the development of horticulture, berry growing, and viticulture and 57 farms received 291.3 million hryvnias (about 6.56 million euros) for the creation and development of greenhouses.

In August 2024, the Government expanded the grant conditions for developing viticulture and horticulture.

Funding for agricultural producers under the government program "єРобота" during 2024-2025 is taking place thanks to the support of the World Bank within the framework of the "Emergency Project for Providing Inclusive Support for the Recovery of Agriculture in Ukraine (ARISE)".
