From January to September 2024, Uzbekistan exported 1.4 million tons of fruits and vegetables worth 1 billion US dollars.
According to Trend, data from the Uzbekistan Statistics Agency shows that this figure increased by 7.6% compared to the same period last year (1.3 million tons in January–September 2023).
Russia became the largest importer of agricultural products from Uzbekistan, with a total volume of 618,900 tons worth 467.3 million US dollars.
Kazakhstan took second place with 433,600 tons of exports valued at 147.7 million US dollars, followed by Pakistan with 100,900 tons of products worth 147.3 million US dollars for the period from January to September 2024.
The export of fruit and vegetable products accounted for 5.3% of Uzbekistan's total export volume.
