Scheduled from December 17 to December 19, the New England Vegetable and Fruit Conference is set to offer more than 25 educational sessions across three days. These sessions will cover a broad spectrum of topics including major vegetable, berry, and tree fruit crops, alongside various special subjects. Each session is followed by a Farmer to Farmer meeting, facilitating informal yet profound discussions between speakers and farmers on pertinent issues.
The event is distinguished by its collaborative foundation, involving growers and Extension personnel from across the region. The steering committee has curated a lineup of eminent speakers from both within the region and nationwide, aimed at presenting the latest innovations and advances in the fruit and vegetable industry. The unique structure of the sessions, featuring insights from both farmers and research or extension personnel, ensures a holistic learning experience.
The conference also features an extensive Trade Show, with over 120 exhibitors participating. Attendees are encouraged to engage with fellow growers, advisors, researchers, and industry representatives, with the goal of acquiring new ideas and information that will positively influence their farming practices.
