Alcoaxarquía signs a strategic agreement with Aurea Capital Partners:

"Our goal is to become the world's leading organic avocado producer in the next five years"

Aurea Agro, part of the Aurea Capital Partners Group, has signed a strategic agreement with the Spanish group Alcoaxarquia, based in Malaga, one of the leaders in the international marketing of organic mangoes and avocados, with production in Spain, South America and Morocco. Thanks to this agreement, the Spanish entity will be able to market the production managed by Aurea in Spain, Peru and the Dominican Republic; countries in which Alcoaxarquía has avocado packing and ripening plants.

According to Alcoaxarquia's CEO, the company will gain almost 2,000 hectares of organic avocado crops from the agricultural division of Aurea Capital Partners. "Our goal is to become the world's leading organic avocado producer in the next five years, with the prospect to reach over 40,000 tons."

This agreement is facilitating technical collaboration in crop management, which will benefit from the experience of both parties. "This alliance represents a strategic partnership and a milestone in a relationship between the two companies that has been forged for over 20 years. Our shared experience and mutual trust are allowing us to walk on a solid path towards new horizons," says Alconchel. "This will generate opportunities for investment and for the shared management of agricultural assets, including the development of new plantations."

Alcoaxarquía, owned by the Tres Mares fund, expects the sale of avocados, mangoes and other fruits to grow by more than 31% this year, reaching 65 million Euro in turnover.
