"Provisur to showcase STS, Barracuda, and Hoegger fruit processing refiners

Provisur, an industrial food processing equipment manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois, will showcase a variety of machines at Fruit Logistica2025. The Provisur booth will feature modular production systems for fruit compote, mash, and juice, including equipment such as the STS, Barracuda, and Hoegger refiners.

STS 800 / STS 2000 / STS 3000 – high throughput and ease of maintenance
STS technologies are designed for producing jams, compotes, and various fruit and vegetable sauces and purees. The STS 2000 is a refiner capable of higher throughput and enhanced quality control for numerous end products.

The machine operates by pressing the product against a perforated drum using a flexible pressing belt. Soft components pass through the drum, while hard materials like stones and skins are removed by a scraping knife and directed to a waste chute. The design prioritizes robust construction and straightforward configuration to facilitate maintenance, cleaning, and hygienic operation.

AM2C Barracuda – for various fruit processing applications
Provisur systems offer flexibility and modularity, catering to both small-scale and industrial production. The Barracuda refiner is suited for smaller batch processing and combines low RPM technology with a single screw feed system, allowing gentle handling of raw materials.

The machine features a two-pallet vane pump and processes fresh and cooked products at temperatures ranging from 0 to 90°C, with capacities between 100 kg and 30 tons per hour. It is capable of refining to sizes from 360 microns to 10 mm and can handle products with high fiber content. Testing and demonstrations are available at Provisur's Innovation Center in Plailly, France, or customer facilities.

Hoegger PS 2000 and PS 4000 – controlled pressure for precision processing
Hoegger refiners are designed for the efficient production of compotes and mashes from soft and cooked fruits, with applications extending to separating hard and soft particles in fruit products. The machines effectively remove pits, stones, skins, stems, black spots, and fibers.

A unique feature of Hoegger technology is its delta pressure sensor system, which maintains consistent, low pressure to ensure product quality. Knife head rotation speed is fully controlled, and the machines feature automatic, recipe-controlled regulation for consistent output. Additionally, the machines are designed for easy operation and cleaning, with low operating costs.

Provisur Technologies wil be at, Hall 2.1, Stand C-13, at Fruit Logistica 2025.
