392 Cocaine sheets hidden in banana boxes seized at Caucedo Port

In a collaborative effort, agents from the Dominican Republic's National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD), alongside the Public Ministry and Military Security at the Caucedo Multimodal Port, have intercepted a shipment containing 392 sheets of suspected cocaine.

This illicit consignment was ingeniously hidden within 98 boxes of bananas inside a container earmarked for Rotterdam. The discovery was made possible through the utilization of X-ray machines during routine inspections, where suspicious images flagged the attention of the authorities.
