New deep-freezing plant will launch in Mykolaiv, Ukraine

A food production plant in the Mykolaiv region is set to open a new deep-freezing facility. The new plant will focus on freezing vegetables, fruits, and other food products. This expansion will help Ukraine increase its food exports and provide local farmers with a year-round market for their products.

The current plant, which covers over 8,500 square meters of production space, employs around 60 people, and has received 12 million euros in investment, has been running smoothly despite the challenges of the war. The new deep-freezing plant is part of the company's plans to grow and improve its operations.

"Despite the war, the plant has continued working. Today, it covers over 8,500 square meters of production space, employs about 60 people, and has attracted 12 million euros in investment. We are also planning to build a deep-freezing facility. Every investment in this kind of plant helps move Ukraine from being just an agricultural country to an agro-industrial one. Developing deeper processing and adding value is important for increasing exports, creating jobs, and boosting the budget," said Vitalii Koval, Ukraine's Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food.
