In the comparison of week 4 (ending 26-01-25) and week 5 (ending 02-02-25), price changes per 100 kg varied across different countries. In Spain (ES), the price increased slightly from €94 in week 4 to €97 in week 5. Similarly, France (FR) saw a minor decrease in price, moving from €112 in week 4 to €110 in week 5. These shifts indicate slight fluctuations in pricing rather than drastic changes.
In Croatia (HR), the price saw a notable increase, rising from €99 in week 4 to €111 in week 5. This represents a significant upward movement in pricing compared to Spain and France. Meanwhile, in the Netherlands (NL), prices also experienced an increase, moving from €113 in week 4 to €116 in week 5. Though this change is smaller than Croatia's, it follows the overall trend of increasing prices in certain regions.
Slovakia (SK) exhibited one of the most significant increases among the selected countries. The price rose from €136 in week 4 to €148 in week 5, marking a sharp rise. This contrasts with the more moderate changes observed in Spain, France, and the Netherlands. The increase in Slovakia's price aligns with Croatia's upward trend, although at a more pronounced rate.
Overall, price movements between the two weeks were mixed, with Spain and France showing minor fluctuations, Croatia and the Netherlands experiencing moderate increases, and Slovakia seeing a sharp rise. These variations suggest regional differences in pricing dynamics, with some markets experiencing more stability while others faced notable increases in the € price p/100 kg.
