Orri Jaffa mandarin shipments continue amid high demand

The Orri Jaffa mandarin season has been ongoing for three months and is expected to continue until at least May. This year's shipments have exceeded those of the 2024 season.

Orri Jaffa mandarins are available in major retail chains and stores across Europe, with key markets including France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK. The fruit is also exported to Canada and the United States, where cold treatment regulations are followed to maintain quality during transport. Some retailers have secured supply through pre-planned promotions.

This season's crop consists of large and medium-sized fruit, allowing for broad distribution. Prices reflect demand, though growers are managing challenges related to the exchange rates of the Euro and US Dollar against production costs.

Growers and packing houses continue to prioritize export markets, with shipments ongoing for the remainder of the season.
