In fruit and vegetable storage and greenhouse cultivation, temperature and humidity are critical factors that directly impact product quality. Excessively high temperatures can lead to spoilage, while low humidity may cause dehydration. Traditional monitoring methods often face issues such as delayed data transmission and limited coverage. According to Mr. Liao, the LoRa sensors are specifically designed for large warehouses and extensive greenhouse installations. "This sensor features an ultra-long transmission range of up to 5,000 meters. When used with a gateway, it can easily cover large areas without the need for frequent battery replacement, significantly lowering maintenance costs. The sensor collects real-time environmental data and uploads it to the cloud via the gateway. Managers can access this monitoring data anytime through their smartphones or computers. If the temperature or humidity exceeds a preset threshold, the system triggers an immediate alarm to help prevent potential losses. Additionally, the data logger can store historical data over long periods, enabling analysis of environmental trends and providing a scientific foundation for storage management and greenhouse cultivation—ultimately improving the shelf life and yield of fruits and vegetables." © Tzone
"Unlike LoRaWAN gateways, we utilize a private communication protocol to ensure more secure data transmission, effectively guarding against external interference and malicious attacks, and ensuring the reliability and controllability of the monitoring data," Mr. Liao added.
The company showcased this product at Fruit Logistica in Berlin, Germany, where it attracted interest from customers in Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, and beyond. "It's the peak season for fruits and vegetables in the Northern Hemisphere. We hope this data logger can offer scientific support for storage regulation and greenhouse cultivation, helping to improve both shelf life and yield," said Mr. Liao.

Tzone continues to expand and diversify its product portfolio. In addition to the LoRa series, the company offers a wide range of devices, including USB temperature and humidity data loggers, standard temperature data loggers, Bluetooth temperature and humidity data loggers, and TT19 4G wireless temperature, humidity, and location data loggers, to meet various customer needs. Commenting on the company's strengths, the Tzone marketing department noted: "We have 19 years of experience in manufacturing temperature and humidity monitoring devices. With our own factories, R&D, and production departments, we maintain strict quality control over every product we make."
