First shipment of new season New Zealand onions arrived in Vietnam

Truong An Food received the first shipment of new season brown onions from New Zealand for the Vietnamese market.

"We are thrilled at the great quality of early onions in the new 2025 season. Right now, we are ready to deliver to all retailers and Horeca. The first shipment arrived in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) on 31 March 2025," said Tran Van Chuc, Director of Purchasing, Marketing, and Operations at Truong An Food

"The onions were cleaned up and dried as per export standards, and quality is very good. We have sizes 60 / 70 / 80mm, which are suitable for the market."

In addition to the New Zealand onions, there are also local onions from DaLat; these are available from January to June. There are still some Dutch onions on the market, but these will finish soon. There are also Chinese onions available.
