Grodan pioneered sustainable horticulture with rockwool cultivation solutions and has since evolved into a global leader. Today, they empower their customers to grow smarter and more sustainably by optimizing resources like water, space, and nutrients. With their open software platform, they bring greenhouse data to life, offering growers sharper insights for better business decisions. As they expand internationally, we’re looking for a Key Account Manager Export to bring their vision to new markets.

Your Role
In this exciting, global role, you’ll build and nurture relationships with high-tech greenhouse operators, EPC contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders to drive sales and service for newly built high-tech greenhouses. You’ll be at the forefront of Grodan’s growth, turning opportunities into action and creating long-term partnerships with industry leaders.
You’ll be part of a dynamic international team of Key Account Managers, each with a unique regional focus.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify and act on international sales opportunities, crafting and executing effective action plans;
  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with clients, consistently achieving budget targets;
  • Build and maintain strong connections with internal and external stakeholders, from investors to grower groups and consultants;
  • Lead improvements in sales effectiveness and process optimization;
  • Report on market trends, competitive activities, and new product opportunities;
  • Collaborate with Business Support to deliver top-notch training for customers.

Your home base will be the Grodan office in Roermond The Netherlands, but you’ll have flexibility with remote work and frequent travel to customer locations worldwide.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in horticulture or related field);
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within relevant industries and with dealer networks;
  • Strong background in sales management and a talent for adapting to diverse business cultures;
  • Business-level English (Dutch is a plus);
  • Proven ability to build connections and liaise with distributors, customers, and stakeholders.
