Georgia exported 2,346 tons of blueberries worth $14.4 million and 3,635 tons of peaches worth $3.9 million between May 1 and July 5. The volume of blueberry exports increased by 1,766 tons - a four-fold increase - year-on-year, with the value of the exports at $10.7 million, or a 3.9-fold rise.
In peach exports, their volume increased by 510 tons (16 percent), and the value by $460,000 (13 percent). Georgian blueberries were exported to Russia (2,207 tons), Poland (37 tons), United Arab Emirates (33.3 tons), the Netherlands (24.5 tons), Armenia (15.5 tons), Germany (11.1 tons), Qatar (4.3 tons), Kuwait (4.3 tons), Saudi Arabia (3.2 tons), Bahrain (2.7 tons) and other countries (3 tons).
In the same period, Georgian peaches were exported to Russia (3,136 tons), Armenia (480 tons) and Belarus (20 tons).
