This weekend, the president of the Brazilian Association of Fruit Exporters (Abrafrutas), Guilherme Coelho, participated in a meeting with a representative of a Chinese investment company and producers of fruits from the São Francisco Valley. Guilherme Coelho was quite positive about the meeting, saying: “We talked about specificities of the Chinese market and consumer behavior. Brazilian fruit growers already have experience with international trade and we are ready to meet the needs of the market. the opening of this commercialization will demand the expansion of production and, consequently, will reflect positively on the economy and on the generation of jobs.”
