Evergreen acquires minority stake in Rotterdam terminal

One of the major container shipping companies in Taiwan, Evergreen, has reportedly acquired a 20% stake in the Euromax terminal of Rotterdam port in the Netherlands.

According to Alphaliner, the Hong Kong-based port operator Hutchison Ports seems to have sold the stake to the Taiwanese company for approximately €72.5 million (US$79 million). The Chinese shipping giant COSCO also holds shares in the container terminal.
