Sales down at Koyambedu wholesale market due to monsoon season

According to Koyambedu market wholesale traders, the number of customers has dropped over the past few days and the cost of fruits dipped by around 30 percent.

Sales have dropped due to the rains as more consumers avoid fruits during the monsoon season. The temperature and weather conditions play a crucial role in fruit consumption. Citrus sales in particular are affected during the monsoon.
